Kevin’s first psychic experience was at the age of four. While playing a game with his grandmother, he told her what she looked like at his age, how she wore her hair, and the name of her best friend. He then proceeded to sing the song they used to sing when they played together. And at that point she said to him, “Kevin you have a gift and it’s a gift from God. People will tell you that it’s bad, it’s wrong or that they don’t believe you but, as long as you know it is a gift from God, everything will be okay” This awakened Kevin’s spiritual nature and the gifts he had to bring to the world.
It was much later, when he was an adult, after his grandmother had passed away, that he learned his grandmother, at the age of 16, had been a spiritualist and platform medium at one of the largest spiritualist camps in the US.
A 12 year veteran of the corporate world, Dr.Kevin Ross Emery has also worked as a medium, medical intuitive, psychic, spiritual coach and counselor for 30 years. Described by one newspaper as “part preacher, teacher, author, New Ager and corporate business man”, he is the author of Managing the Gift: Alternative Approaches for Attention Deficit Disorder. He is in the process of writing his next book, Managing the ADHD Gifted Child, scheduled to for release late in 2009.
Dr. Kevin Ross Emery is a Reiki Master and teacher. He is the creator and teacher of the Wei Chi Tibetan Reiki™ System of natural healing. He is the original channel for Wei Chi, a 5000 year old Tibetan Shaman, who defines Reiki as “The process of empowering one to heal oneself”
Currently, he has a flourishing spiritual counseling practice in Maine and Massachusetts. He regularly teaches classes and workshops all over the USA and Europe. Outside the Box, a 5 day a week podcast, is another way to experience “Dr. Kevin” and a variety of guests from various educational and spiritual backgrounds. His work covers a variety of New Age and holistic approaches to help people learn how to heal themselves and find their true path.
Dr Emery holds a B.A. in Business & Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and both a Master’s and Doctorate in Divinity from the Universal Brotherhood University.
