Michael channelling Joseph
(Excerpt from a question asked at a public trance demonstration)
Dorothy: May I ask or enquire - could you explain to us where you originate from or the souls or group of souls that you work with where they originate from?
Joseph: I originate from God, first of all - as do you.
If you are talking about my earthly existence - I have been a soldier, I have been a priest, I did exist (as I say in my books) at the time of Atlantis but I must make this clear: Atlantis is a different vibration of the Earth plane than the one you are used to. People say: ‘Point to Atlantis! Tell me where it is, tell me where it was.’ It was other where, it was of a different vibration, we were of a far more spiritual (not spiritual with regards to arrogance but spiritual with regard to knowledge) - far more spiritual perspective than mankind is at the present time. We had mechanisms; we had equipment that was powered spiritually; we were if you like standing with one foot on the Earth and one foot in the spirit worlds and we knew that the two connected and we knew that the two would bring balance to us and we knew how to use spiritual power to change our environment. We did all this with an eye towards our God-heritage and we channelled God-power after asking carefully and peacefully that we might be able to use it. We respected God-power; our mechanisms, our equipments were not intrusive, they did not affect the Earth negatively. They were used in harmony to create our society, to further our society and to allow us to experience the Earth plane for what it really is: an area with opportunities to give us knowledge, an area with opportunities for us to explore ourselves within but not harming anyone, not destroying anything.
This is the life that I choose to remember – there are others but I push them out of the way as though I am selecting clothes from a wardrobe - ‘Not this one, not this one, not this one, not this one … Atlantis!’ - because I am comfortable with it and it is closest in vibration to what I am trying to communicate to you, that time is closest in vibration so that earthly vibration that I must (because of certain laws) inhabit again when I come to speak to you, is already half way there to what I am trying to communicate. Therefore it is easier for me to cut through the heavier vibrations of the Earth plane in order to communicate with that particular persona intact. I have been a woman (you have been a man) but I do not select those lives, I select the Atlantean life.
You asked me about soul groups. Soul groups - you can imagine that we have millions of family members, millions of brothers and sisters and each one of them has a story to tell, each one of them has gone through several lifetimes at least, each one of them has decided to turn his or her back physically on the Earth but not spiritually. In other words they have decided that they do not want to return. Unfortunately Joseph has to return! They do not want to return but they do want to channel the information that is available to them to the Earth to those who will listen and the idea of changing the Earth through the promotion, the movement of light. This is their task.
The group soul is composed of individuals, is composed of one entity - just as you in this group are composed of individuals but are, in reality, one entity. They have - as do I - their separate worlds (‘worlds’ is perhaps the wrong word - perhaps a ‘house’ is a better word but not a house as you would have on Earth), they have around them a set of circumstances that they have created and are comfortable with for now. There is also a group perspective just as you can go outside now and enjoy a panoramic view of hills for example or can go to another country and each experience the same view. So the members of the group soul are able to either experience their individual view or the group view at will or a combination of the two.
There are people within the group soul from all walks of life, from all cultures but they will tell you (as I have told you) that those cultures and those walks of life are for the most part are hung in wardrobes, are pressed in books like flowers. And they may go back to them and say: ‘I refer to this because there is a certain challenge that I am not quite sure about but I can find it here in the records of my life.’ But they do not for a moment say: ‘I am this’ they say: ‘I was this as part of my education spiritually and now I am this, now I am something else.’ But when they return to Earth to talk to you as guides, they have to (because they are lowering their vibration, slowing down their vibration) return via - but only via, only as a surface vibration - a persona that they once had whilst they lived on Earth. And so you have the Native American Indian because that is the persona that they choose to come back through in order to talk to you. And that, in the case of many Native American Indians, is the most spiritual of their experiences and so the most appropriate persona for them to pull back on from the ‘wardrobe’ in order to talk to you.
Group souls are also evolving: group souls connect to other group souls; there is always a longing to be more than you are, to experience more light and more love, to move up closer to that light, closer to that love so it is a migration always. It is always a step up that we seek but you are part of us; you are unfortunately encased in the heavy matter of a mistaken society and in order to elevate ourselves, we have also to elevate you. It is necessary and we do it because we love you. So we have one eye on the next step and one eye on the Earth. And oh if we could bring to you now - instead of dripping the knowledge to you - all the knowledge and have you open your heart to it, then we would have both eyes on the next step because you would not wish to be here, you would elevate yourselves from this level of consciousness and the darkness, the violence, the disease, the pollution, the harm to the Earth would disappear instantly. Instantly!

Joseph: I must say - as a coder to what I have said - that I am not that Atlantean; I was but I am not now. It is simply one of those suits of clothes - very nice suit of clothes and some very nice memories but not what I am now. But you need a focal point - if I say: ‘I am light’, you would say: ‘Where are you Joseph? Where are you?’
I am light. You are light but I can choose to be that light or if I come back to the Earth plane I have to compress, I have to give an impression of a human being and the Atlantean persona is the one that I choose to reunite to.
