I first met Mandy Masters at the beginning of last year, when I was introduced by a mutual friend who had told her about the charity work that I do via the Open Arms Haven in Grays.
Mandy herself raises significant amounts of money for charities via her mediumship, and was interested in talking to me, and potentially working with the Haven to help us raise a donation for our two local charities, MIND and South Essex Rape and Incest Crisis Centre.
I had heard about Mandy on the circuit, but had never met her, or seen her work, and it was with some trepidation that I went along to that first meeting - not least how I would be able to interact with her as she was born without arms due to the Thalidomide scandal !
I need not have been concerned - she was a lovely woman, very warm and friendly, and put me at my ease immediately. I watched in amazement as she dealt angel cards to give me a reading using her toes - she explained to me that she uses her feet for everything she does, but even now, some time on, it still fascinates me - it took me a while to believe she wasnt using some sort of voice recognition software to text me !
Mandy gave me a reading, which was accurate, and very thought provoking. She told me details of certain issues which no-one could have known, and gave her opinion of the likely outcome, which has pretty much been the case.
I was interested to see her trance work, as to be honest, I have always been very sceptical about trance - most of the mediums I have seen who purport to be in trance seem to be just pulling faces and using a daft voice - so to be frank I wasnt expecting much.
However, Mandy really surprised me with the trance work. From the start, when she went into Trance, I was very aware of being in the presence of something that was not quite human - Mandy's "spirit talkers" say they come from another dimension - and certainly, they did not feel like they were coming from either earth or spirit plane. They gave some very interesting information regarding current affairs, and then some personal advice to me, which again was very accurate a
nd pertinent. During trance, Mandy also channelled one of my loved ones, whom I could readily identify by his voice.
It was spooky - but very compelling !
All in all, I would say that Mandy does seem to be the real deal with regard to trance. I have seen her in trance several time since, and on the last occasion - just for a couple of seconds, haerd two distinct seperate voices coming from her at the same time, talking over each other. Amazing !
Since meeting with Mandy in those early days, I have built a strong friendship with her, and she has now asked me to help promote her work in the Essex area.
