Past Lives or Reincarnation
I have spoken on this subject before and I recently found some other information which may be of interest to some people.
It has been said that Past lives or reincarnation has been a part of many different Religions or spiritual organisations. These movements are from all walks of life. They include the following.
Hindu traditions.
Buddhism.
Some African tribes include this in their beliefs.
North/ Native American (Indians).
Paganism.
New Age movements.
Past lives is also linked to Norse mythology.
Each culture or belief has its own views and thoughts on the subject for some it been around for thousand of years. In India alone they have strong links that traces past lives back to 800 BCE. By the Upanishads. Again in Tibetan Buddhism. It has been said that once the soul of the passing Lama has passed it will reincarnate into an infant within 9 months.
Not to be left out are the Greeks some ancient Philosophers also believed in past lives too. Some Gnostic groups believe in past lives but this can be sometimes viewed as a negative concept. Again we all need a balance so as with ying and yang. It does not affect the central belief even if its facets are many. This includes some groups burying treasure with them to take forth into the new world or even more simple future lives. Now this may be linked to some of the pharaoh’s tombs and the wealth and family possessions buried with them.
Past lives or the belief of reincarnation is global it reaches both the Northern and Southern Hempshere. In America The Church of Scientology and it followers accept the belief of Past Lives. A str

ong support of this powerful subject and was a leader in his own right the American “Edgar Cayce.”
Not all religions recognise or acknowledge past lives in their teachings. Islam and most of the present day Christian beliefs reject the concept of them.
This post is not to pass judgement on any one particular belief. I am playing the devils advocate. I am not siding with any of the religious groups I have my own views and I don’t sit and judge anyone for their own beliefs I believe everyone view of any religion has its own merit I do however say that all religions founded on love will be judged by the parties concerned at the time.
I believe the God presence is founded and based on this and it has many facets. For each of us its different but I am sure in principle everyone wants the same thing. Well I hope so.
To continue if you acknowledge a Future life you would probably accept that you had a past. Like in any persons history we talk of the past being what went before the present which is the here and now the future.
So to incarnate the past has to be a part of the present and the future.
This then leads to different views and thoughts again to reincarnation. To have a future you must have had a past.
One of the theories is that you travel through the spiritual plane from one life to another.
I will try however in the next few posts on this subject to bring to your attention some of the other thoughts. Its an interesting subject and I will be putting on the site a mediation that you might want to look at.
