About 8 years ago after I was baptized. I asked God that night what my purpose in life was. My answer .."To write a Book". I questioned, "What kind of book"? I did not receive any other answer! Years and years went by until I finally saw the light, what God intended me to write about! This is my true story. I have always had strange/spiritual experiences happen to me all through my life, but this affected me like no other. I had been working in Nursing Homes/Rest Homes most of my life. I have cared for the sick, elderly and dying. I love my job for it is very rewarding and I try to love and see the good in every resident I care for, for I have always felt that is why we are here, to be more like Jesus. I had just returned home after a long day of work! I felt tired. I had recently turned 42 years of age and was beginning to feel the effect of my age. My legs were occasionally creaking, and I felt more pains in my body. I questioned God. "Why God, if we are your finest creatures, why do you make us just to get old, sick and in pain? You make the flowers grow over and over again. There are so many miraculous creatures that you have made! "Why, if I do all your good works am I prone to a breakdown of my body? A thought came to me. "The truth shall set you free" I had a bible in my room but never read it thoroughly. I picked it up and began reading. Lord, I said "If this is the truth, please set me free and explain the words and meanings to me. As I began reading, I questioned the parts of the bible that told of people growing very old, until 120 or more. I asked God, "How can people possibly live that old? I was about to close the book when I received answers in my head like strong thoughts. "You can't live until that age living a human existence, only if you live a spiritual existence. I asked. "Well aren't I living a great life"? I try to love everyone and forgive all those who treat me badly. My answer, "You can only live a more spiritual life if you follow my commandments"! As I kept reading the book answers flowed to me like a friend enlightening me. I was told that most people sin all the time and never realize it. It is only when we give ourselves completely to God that we can live a more harmonious, peaceful, joyful life. I began trying to live my life the way I was instructed. I tried to think first before I opened my mouth. To speak positive not negative. This is a very hard concept for us to grasp at first, but it is not impossible. When I would make a mistake I would ask God (in my thoughts) to forgive me and let me start again. I began to feel a stronger prescence of God! The highest feeling in the world is to be closer to God. As you decide to change your way of living, stop judging, stop living life with envy of others, stop swearing against God/Jesus (this is what most pople do on a regular basis) God wants us to be thankful, to praise him on a constant level throughout the day, to give thanks all day for our many blessings too. In doing these things you will begin to see miracles in your life. You will live your life with less sickness and your family will also be blessed more. This is the ultimate joy to our existence. Why do you think they call it the 10 commandments, but few people take them seriously! I was told that we are spiritual creatures, we have the ability to bring goodness or bad things into our lives just by thought. Just like in the book "The Secret" we need to build up our faith. If you choose to live a more spiritual life you will be emptying your body of sin (darkness). In this way God can and will be able to send us more of his blessings! My life has totally changed after this incident. I now have few pains in my body. My mind is more clear and I even look younger than I did before this experience. If you are having health issues or need help from God but feel he is not listening, begin by living by God's ways, not the worlds!....
